Recently, Ying’s research on the methodology of polypeptide synthesis using MOFs, as well as on the applications of MOF-polypeptide hybrids directly from the preparation strategy, has been published on Nature Communications. The news is also featured on various social media, including Sina, NetEase, Tencent and People’s Daily.

This fall, our group welcomes four new members: Ms. Yating Fei, Ms. Xue’ao Mei, Ms. Xue Li, and Ms. Yuan Yao. Yuan will pursue her Eng. D. degree here, and the rest will work for their M.S. degree.

We are all actively engaging into the national war with the coronavirus. We are staying at home, reading papers, writing manuscripts, and having discussions on WeChat. Although the domestic fight is almost over, we are now facing new threat as the pandemic is now worldwide. But we believe that a united front will be stronger than any virus. Together we will prevail!

Mr. Zhiyong Chen passed the on-site interview for ’18 Fall graduate students (Ph. D. program) and has decided to join our group. He has now started in the group as a research assistant, preparing for his upcoming Ph. D. adventure starting in September. Welcome, Zhiyong!
